Oatmeal Crunchies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
    3 c. old-fashioned oatmeal (not instant)
Preparation
    Cream shortening with sugars.
    Add beaten eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, baking soda and salt.
    Add dry ingredients and oatmeal to creamed mixture.
    Shape into roll and chill.
    Slice into thin pieces.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
