Frosted Chews - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. light corn syrup
    6 c. Special K
    12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
    1 c. peanut butter
Preparation
    Bring to a boil the sugar and syrup. Turn off heat. Add the peanut butter and stir. Add the Special K, half at a time. Stir well.
    Press in a 9 x 13-inch pan and cool.
    Melt the chocolate chips and spread on bars.
    Let harden before serving.
