Sour Cream Rhubarb Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
    1 Tbsp. melted butter
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1 c. sour cream
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 to 3 c. rhubarb, cut in 1/2-inch pieces
Preparation
    Cream brown sugar, shortening and egg.
    Add flour and salt alternately with sour cream.
    Stir in rhubarb.
    Turn into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Sprinkle with topping.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes.
