Quick Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. self-rising flour
    1/2 c. corn oil
    2/3 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
    Place flour in medium bowl; pour corn oil in measuring cup.
    Add buttermilk, flour and oil to mixture; add all at once, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough out on floured surface and knead dough 3 or 4 times. Roll dough to 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut with biscuit cutter, place biscuits on an ungreased baking sheet.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes or until biscuits are golden brown.
    Yields 1 dozen.
