Chicken With Herbs And Garlic - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 split chicken breasts, skin removed
    2 Tbsp. butter
    salt and pepper to taste
    garlic cloves (number to taste)
    herbs (thyme and/or rosemary to taste)
    wine
Preparation
    Season chicken with salt and plenty of pepper.
    Saute chicken in butter (using as little as possible).
    Add garlic cloves (whole, chopped or use a press).
    Sprinkle chicken with herbs and cover pan with a tight-fitting lid.
    Cook over medium heat for 25 to 30 minutes.
    When tender, remove chicken and add several tablespoons wine or sherry.
    (Water or juice is acceptable.)
    Stir well with pan drippings; boil until liquid is reduced and pour over chicken.
    Serve with noodles and steamed vegetables.
