Liver With Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 medium onion, sliced and sauteed
    1/2 lb. sliced calves or beef liver
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. oregano
    1/2 c. dry white wine
Preparation
    Saute first 5 ingredients until browned.
    Then add salt, oregano and wine.
    Simmer for 5 minutes.
    In 1 tablespoon butter, saute mushrooms and onions until limp.
    Remove to plate.
    Add 1 tablespoon butter.
    Add liver and saute until browned, about 2 minutes on each side.
    Add salt, oregano and wine.
    Heat to boil. Reduce heat to simmer, cover and cook 5 minutes.
    Add mushrooms and onions; heat briefly.
