Betty Knick'S Pot Roast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    sirloin or rump roast
    salt, pepper and flour
    oil
    2 cans cream of mushroom soup
    2 cans water
    1 small can Hunt's tomato sauce
    1 pkg. Lipton onion soup mix
    small peeled white onions (pearl onions)
    carrot chunks
    peeled potatoes
Preparation
    Cook on top of stove.
    Salt, pepper and flour meat; brown in pot using oil.
    Remove meat from pot; drain excess grease.
    Mix soup, water, tomato sauce and soup mix; bring to a boil and add roast.
    Simmer for 1/2 hour.
    Add onions.
    Simmer for 1/2 hour. Add carrot chunks.
    Simmer 1 hour.
    Add potatoes.
    Simmer 1 hour.
