Velvet Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs
1/2 c. sugar
2 1/2 c. milk
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Scald milk.
Beat eggs until frothy; add sugar, salt and vanilla and mix.
Add scalded milk and mix thoroughly.
Pour into unbaked 9-inch pie shell.
Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake at 325\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
Check center with table knife.
It will come out clean when done.
