Asparagus Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 lb. margarine, melted
    1 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. salt
    3 Tbsp. flour
    dash of pepper
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 c. grated American cheese
    3 cans asparagus, drained
Preparation
    Mix melted margarine with cracker crumbs and line a casserole with mixture. Reserve 1/2 cup mixture for top.
    Mix 4 tablespoons butter, salt, flour, pepper, milk and grated cheese in saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens. Place asparagus over crumbs in pan.
    Pour cheese sauce over asparagus, then top with 1/2 cup reserved crumb mixture.
    Bake 15 minutes at 400\u00b0.
