Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. margarine (2 sticks)
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
3 c. quick oats
1/2 c. nuts

Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar.
Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients.
Add oatmeal and nuts; mix well.
Make into rolls; wrap and chill in refrigerator (or may be frozen). Slice and bake in oven at 350\u00b0 until brown.
Makes about 6 dozen.
