Chicken And Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken
    1 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    milk
    1 small diced onion
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Clean and cut up chicken; place in kettle and partly cover with water.
    Add onion, salt and pepper and cook until tender. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, a little minced parsley and milk to thick batter.
    Drop from spoon into slowly boiling broth. Cover tightly and let simmer 20 minutes before lifting cover.
