Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Karo dark syrup
    1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    12 medium-sized sweet potatoes, cooked, peeled and halved lengthwise
Preparation
    Bring first five ingredients to a boil.
    Reduce heat; simmer five minutes.
    Pour half of sauce into a large, shallow baking dish.
    Add potatoes.
    Top with remaining sauce.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven, basting often, for 20 minutes.
