*Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    1 c. sugar
    1 (16 oz.) can fruit cocktail and juice
    1 c. brown sugar, mixed with 1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Beat sugar and egg together.
    Add fruit cocktail and stir until blended.
    Sift flour, soda and salt, blending into fruit mixture.
    Pour into greased 10 x 14-inch sheet pan.
    Sprinkle with brown sugar, mixed with the chopped nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
    Serve warm or cold with whipped cream or ice cream. Serves 12 to 15.
