Hungarian Stuffed Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 egg
    3/4 c. rice
    1 small onion
    1 Tbsp. fat
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 small can tomato sauce
    salt, pepper and paprika
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Soak rice in cold water for 1/2 hour.
    Remove outer leaves of cabbage.
    Cut off hard parts, then parboil for 5 minutes. (Optional) Chop onion and fry lightly; drain.
    Drain rice; beat egg and mix with meat.
    Season and place meat mixture in leaves.
    Roll up securely.
    Cover with hot water.
    Add tomato sauce and cook 1 1/2 hours, then melt fat and blend with flour.
    Add 1/2 to 1 teaspoon paprika; dissolve in water and pour over cabbage.
    Boil 1/2 hour longer.
