Candied Sweet Potatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 small sweet potatoes
1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp. chopped pecans
1 Tbsp. pineapple juice
1 tsp. lemon juice
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Cook sweet potatoes in boiling water for 20 to 25 minutes or until tender (may bake).
Let cool, peel and cut into 3/4-inch thick slices.
Arrange potatoes in a lightly greased shallow 1-quart casserole dish.
Combine sugar, pecans, juices and cinnamon, mixing well; pour over potatoes, tossing gently.
Dot with butter.
Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes, spooning glaze over potatoes occasionally.

2 servings.
