Orange Raisin Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. orange juice
    1 c. raisins
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
    2 large eggs (at room temperature)
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Heat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Lightly butter a 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.
    Heat orange juice until almost boiling.
    Put raisins, butter and orange rind in a bowl, then pour orange juice over them.
    Set aside to cool.
    In another bowl, beat eggs with sugar until thick.
    Add vanilla and stir into raisin mixture.
    Add sifted dry ingredients to raisin mixture and stir until moistened.
    Fold in walnuts.
    Lightly spread batter into pan.
    Bake 1 hour.
    Remove the loaf to a wire rack.
    Cool 10 minutes.
