Lemon Bars Deluxe - cooking recipe

2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. margarine, softened
2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. powdered sugar
4 eggs, beaten
1/3 c. lemon juice
powdered sugar (for top)
Preparation

Sift together 2 cups flour and 1/2 cup powdered sugar.
Cut in margarine until mixture clings together; press into a greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
Combine eggs, sugar and lemon juice; beat well.
Sift together 1/4 cup flour and baking powder; stir into egg mixture. Pour over baked crust.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until lightly browned.
Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Cool.
Cut into squares.
