Cherry Torte - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. oatmeal (quick)
1 c. flour
1/2 c. butter, melted
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. soda, mixed in 2 Tbsp. hot water
1 qt. cherries, sweetened and thickened on top of stove
Preparation

Put part of mixture (all except cherries) on bottom of pan. Put cooked, sweetened and thickened cherries on mixture.
Cover with remaining top mixture.
Bake until brown on top, about 30 minutes, in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
