French Meat Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. ground beef
    2 onions, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 lb. soda crackers (2 long tubes)
Preparation
    Cook ground pork, onions and garlic for 3 hours on a very low fire.
    When it begins to stick, add a little water.
    As it cooks, mash the crackers in a little at a time to absorb
    the grease. Add salt and pepper to taste.
    When cool, put into a double shell pie crust.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 until browned, 30 minutes or so.
