Val'S Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 chicken breasts, cooked and cut up
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    4 Tbsp. cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 can sliced water chestnuts
    1 bunch green onions, chopped
    1 stick butter
    1 can crescent rolls
    8 oz. fresh mushrooms
    1 c. croutons, crushed with rolling pin
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except butter, crescent rolls, croutons and chicken.
    Heat slowly until warm.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch glass pan; mix in chicken.
    Put strips of crescent roll dough on top.
    Sprinkle crushed croutons over dough.
    Melt butter and pour over croutons.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
