Old-Time Sugar Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar
    2/3 c. white sugar
    1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. boiling water
    1 1/2 c. light cream or mixed canned and regular milk
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients.
    Stir in boiling water, cream or milk, cinnamon and vanilla.
    Pour mixture into a 9-inch pastry lined pie pan.
    Put a tablespoon of butter or margarine on top of liquid before baking.
    Bake in a hot oven at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then reduce to 350\u00b0 and bake for 40 minutes.
