Perfect Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 1/2 c. shortening
1 egg
1 Tbsp. vinegar
4 Tbsp. water
Preparation

Sift the flour before measuring.
Add salt and sugar to flour and sift again.
Mix shortening thoroughly with flour mixture. Beat egg.
Add water and vinegar and beat well.
Pour over flour mixture and blend.
(Will be more moist than standard pastry.) Wrap in waxed paper and chill at least 30 minutes.
Dough may be left in refrigerator for 2 or 3 days.
Roll out on aluminum foil. Makes 2 double crusts.
