Light Fruit Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 doz. eggs
    2 c. plain flour
    2 c. sugar
    1 oz. almond flavoring
    1 lb. red candied cherries, chopped up
    1 lb. green candied cherries, chopped up
    1 1/2 lb. candied pineapple, chopped up
    3 qt. pecans, chopped up
    1 box white raisins
    1 1/2 c. plain flour, mixed with fruit to coat
Preparation
    Mix eggs and sugar, beating well.
    Add flour and almond flavoring, mixing well.
    Add cut up fruit and nuts; mix well. Makes 2 cakes in tube pans.
    Cook at 275\u00b0 for 2 1/2 hours.
    Put water in cookie sheet on rack under cakes to keep from being so dry.
    Put brown paper in bottom of pans.
