Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, coarsely chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 large can tomatoes
    1 can tomato paste and 2 cans water
    1/2 lb. mushrooms, coarsely chopped
    1 green pepper, coarsely chopped
    3 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
    1 1/2 Tbsp. black pepper
    2 to 4 Tbsp. flour
    6 slices bacon
Preparation
    Dice bacon and cook until crisp in pan.
    In drippings brown onion and mushrooms.
    Set aside.
    Brown beef.
    Pour off fat and add all remaining ingredients.
    Simmer 1 hour uncovered.
    Freezes well.
