Two Lemon Pies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 heaping Tbsp. flour
    6 eggs
    1 pinch salt
    1 c. water
    4 lemons, juiced
Preparation
    Prebake two pie shells.
    Separate eggs, setting whites aside for topping.
    In the top of a double boiler, stir together the sugar, salt, flour and water.
    When well mixed, beat the egg yolks into the mixture.
    Place top of double boiler over boiling water in the bottom of the boiler.
    Add the lemon juice.
    Keep stirring until mixture thickens.
    Remove from heat and let cool, stirring occasionally.
    Pour into prebaked pie shells.
    Add 12 tablespoons sugar to egg whites while beating with
    a mixer.
    When fairly stiff, put on top of pie filling.
    Brown for about 5 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
