German Potato Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium boiled potatoes
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
    2 hard-cooked eggs
    2 strips crisp bacon
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cut potatoes.
    Fry bacon until crisp.
    Mix all the ingredients together and pour hot grease from bacon over.
    Then mix 1 beaten egg, 1 tablespoon sugar and 1/3 cup vinegar.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick.
    Pour over salad.
