Ambrosia Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. orange Jell-O
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 c. flaked coconut
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip
Preparation
    Mix pineapple and Jell-O.
    Heat until Jell-O dissolves.
    Mix in buttermilk; add coconut and pecans.
    Fold in Cool Whip.
    Pour into a 9 x 13-inch dish and refrigerate.
