Coleslaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium cabbage, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1 carrot, grated
    1/2 green pepper, chopped
    1 c. vinegar
    1/4 c. water
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1 tsp. celery seed
    2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Mix cabbage and salt.
    Let stand 1 hour.
    Squeeze moisture out of cabbage.
    Add carrots and peppers.
    Mix remaining ingredients for dressing; bring to a boil for 1 minute.
    Cool until lukewarm. Pour over slaw; mix well.
    Pack into freezer containers; cover and freeze.
    This slaw thaws quickly, and any leftover slaw may be refrozen.
    The cabbage stays crisp.
