Cocoa Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. softened butter
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
    3 large eggs
    2 1/4 c. unsifted cake flour
    1 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 3/4 c. milk
    7-Minute Frosting (recipe follows)
Preparation
    Grease and flour 3 (9-inch) round baking pans.
    In large bowl, beat together butter, sugar and vanilla until light and fluffy. Add eggs and beat until well combined.
    On piece of waxed paper, sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to butter mixture alternately with milk, beating just until well combined.
    Divide batter into prepared pans.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes until center springs back when touched.
    Cool 10 minutes. Remove from pans.
