English Toffee Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. butter
1 c. light brown sugar
2 c. flour
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 large (8 oz.) Hershey bar
1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; add other ingredients.
Mix and spread in ungreased pan 11 x 15-inches.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes until nice and brown.
Melt Hershey bar in double boiler and spread on cookies while hot.
Sprinkle nuts over top.
Cut in small squares.
