Apple Fritters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    2 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    dash of cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/3 c. milk
    1 tsp. oil
    1 c. pared diced apples
    1 tsp. baking powder
    oil (for deep frying)
Preparation
    Add baking powder to flour.
    Beat egg.
    Add milk, oil, salt, flour mixture and sugar; beat until smooth.
    Dash cinnamon on apples, then stir into batter.
    Drop by teaspoons into hot oil. They turn themselves when browned on one side, or you might need to help.
    Drain on paper towels; sprinkle with powdered sugar. Serve with pancake syrup.
