Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. oleo
1 egg (whole)
1 c. molasses
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. sour milk (1 c. milk plus 1 Tbsp. vinegar may be used)
Preparation

Cream brown sugar and oleo.
Add egg.
Add molasses. Alternate flour, cream of tartar and sour milk.
Bake at 375\u00b0 about 30 minutes in 9 x 13-inch pan.
