Blonde Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans
2/3 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation

To sifted flour, add baking powder, soda and salt. Add nuts. Melt shortening in saucepan.
Remove from heat and mix in sugar. Cool. Stir in egg and vanilla. Add flour mixture gradually, mixing well. Spread in greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Sprinkle chips over top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. Do not overbake. Cool in pan.
