Fidget Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. potatoes, peeled and sliced
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 medium onion, thinly sliced
1 1/4 c. chicken broth
pastry for single crust 9-inch pie
salt and pepper to taste
1/2 tsp. dried sage
3 c. diced, cooked ham (12 oz.)
1 lb. cooking apples, peeled, cored and sliced
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Butter a deep 2-quart casserole.
Layer potato slices in bottom of casserole.
Season with salt, pepper, sage and nutmeg.
Continue layering and seasoning ham, onion and apples.
Pour broth over all.
