Mexican Lasagna(Makes 8 Servings) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. lean ground beef
    2 pkg. dry taco seasoning mix
    1 c. water
    2 c. light sour cream
    1 egg
    8 flour tortillas
    8 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    8 oz. Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
    1 (4 oz.) can whole roasted green chili peppers
    1 c. medium picante sauce (I use a full jar of hot picante sauce)
Preparation
    In heavy skillet, brown meat.
    Drain off fat.
    Add taco seasoning mix and water.
    Simmer 5 minutes.
    Add tomato sauce and simmer until sauce thickens.
