Caraway Skillet Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 slices bacon
1/4 c. bacon drippings
1/4 c. cider vinegar
2 Tbsp. green onion, sliced
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
4 c. shredded cabbage
1 tsp. caraway seed
Preparation

Saute bacon until crisp in a medium size frying pan. Drain on paper toweling and then crumble. Measure 1/4 cup bacon grease and return to pan. Stir in vinegar, onion, sugar and salt.
Heat, stirring constantly, to boiling. Stir in the shredded cabbage and caraway seed.
Sprinkle with bacon.
Serve warm from the pan. Serves 4.
