Cherry Mountain Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine
    2/3 c. milk
    12 oz. vanilla chips
    red food coloring as desired
    3/4 c. peanut butter
    2 c. sugar
    12 large marshmallows
    2 Tbsp. cherry extract
    12 oz. chocolate chips
    12 oz. salted peanuts
Preparation
    Bring margarine, milk, sugar and marshmallows to a boil for 5 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add vanilla chips, cherry extract and food coloring.
    Pour into a 13 x 9-inch pan and chill while preparing topping.
    Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter.
    Stir in peanuts.
    Spread on top of other ingredients and cool in freezer.
