Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 c. flour, sift before measuring
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
1 c. sour cream

Preparation

Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
Sift together the flour, baking powder and soda.
Add the sifted ingredients to creamed mixture alternately with 1 cup sour cream.
