Ingredients

4 medium onions
1 Tbsp. butter
1 qt. beef broth
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper
grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Slice onions (or chop); brown in butter.
Add broth and Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper.
Simmer until onions are tender.
Arrange toast pieces on top of soup (optional).
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
