Holiday Crescents - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    3/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1 c. Quaker oats
    1/2 c. finely chopped almonds
    powdered sugar (for top)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Beat butter and almond extract until fluffy.
    Beat sugar, add flour gradually.
    Stir oats and almonds. Shape into crescent shapes.
    Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 15 to 18 minutes, until light brown.
    Sift powdered sugar over warm crescents.
    Yield: 3 dozen.
