Old Fashioned Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. plain flour
    1 lb. butter
    2 c. sugar
    10 eggs, separated
Preparation
    Cream sugar and butter.
    Add egg yolks one at a time.
    Add flour.
    Whip egg whites until soft peaks form.
    Fold into batter. Bake in tube pan in cold oven at 325\u00b0 for one hour and 15 minutes. Add glaze (powdered sugar and milk) while still hot.
