Mother'S Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 lb. lean ground pork
    2 slices crumbled bread
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    8 oz. can tomato sauce
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except tomato sauce.
    Mold into loaf in shallow baking pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Drain excess fat from pan.
    Pour tomato over loaf.
    Bake 30 minutes longer, basting occasionally.
    Serves 4.
