Chicken Casserole - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. chopped green onions
1 c. chopped celery
2 Tbsp. butter
1 pkg. stuffing mix
1/2 c. butter
1 c. chicken broth
3 c. chopped chicken
1/2 c. mayonnaise
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 eggs
1 1/4 c. milk
1 can chicken soup
Preparation

Saute onions and celery in 2 tablespoons butter.
Spread half of the stuffing mix in the bottom of an oiled baking dish.
Heat 1/2 cup butter and broth; pour over crumbs in a large bowl.
Mix chicken, onions, celery, mayonnaise, salt and pepper; spread over crumbs.
Blend eggs and milk; pour over mixture.
Cover. Refrigerate overnight.
Remove 1 hour before baking.
Spread remaining crumbs over casserole.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
