Christmas Rock Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 3/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. white syrup
    1 c. water
    1 tsp. cinnamon oil
    food coloring of your choice
Preparation
    Stir first 3 ingredients over medium heat until dissolved. Boil without stirring until 310\u00b0 is reached.
    Cook at same temperature until you can drop some in cold water and it forms a hard crack.
    Remove from heat and add cinnamon and food coloring.
