Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef, cooked and drained
    2 Tbsp. onion, minced
    1 clove garlic, minced
    1/2 c. canned diced tomato
    2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    1/2 bell pepper, diced
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    pinch of ground pepper
    1/2 c. black olives, diced
    1 1/2 c. dry rice (3 c. cooked rice, if cold rice, 3 1/2 c.)
    1 c. grated Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Cook ground beef and drain fat.
    Add minced onion and continue cooking for 5 minutes.
    Spray a small baking dish with nonstick cooking spray (or lightly grease dish).
    Mix all ingredients in the dish, except save 1/2 the cheese to sprinkle on top.
    Sprinkle cheese on top and cover the dish with aluminum foil.
    Bake it in a 350\u00b0 oven for 30 minutes.
    Serves 6.
