Apple Crumb Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large tart apples
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. butter (oleo)
    1 frozen pie shell (9-inch)
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 c. flour
Preparation
    Pare apples (Pippin is good).
    Cut in 1/8-inch pieces and arrange in an unbaked pie shell.
    Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon.
    Sift remaining sugar with flour; cut in butter or oleo until crumbly.
    Sprinkle over apples.
    Bake in a hot oven at 450\u00b0 for 10 minutes, then in a moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for about 40 minutes or until apples are tender.
