Dumplins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sifted flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, beaten
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together.
    Combine egg and milk and add to dry ingredients.
    Stir together lightly.
    Drop by spoonfuls on top of boilings stews, meats, vegetables or sauerkraut.
    Cover utensil tightly and steam 15 to 20 minutes on top of burner without lifting cover, or cover and bake in the oven at 350\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
