Escarole And Beans Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head escarole
    3 cloves garlic
    1 1/2 tsp. salt to taste
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    3 c. chicken broth
    1 large can cannellini beans
    2 c. cold water
    grated cheese
Preparation
    Bring water, broth and salt to boil.
    Add greens, garlic and pepper.
    Boil and simmer for 45 minutes.
    Add beans.
    Simmer another 10 minutes.
    Serve with grated cheese and Italian bread.
