Caramel Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
4 Tbsp. flour
1 pt. milk
4 egg yolks
1 c. sugar, caramelized
2 Tbsp. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
Preparation

Combine sugar and flour. Add milk and egg yolks. Cook until thick. Remove from heat; add caramelized sugar. Beat as you add the hot sugar. Cook until mixture is smooth. Add butter and vanilla. Pour into baked pie shell. Put meringue on top and brown lightly.
