Cantaloupe Meringue Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 to 3 ripe canteloupes
    6 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 baked pie shell
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 c. sugar
    3 large eggs, separated
    6 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Scoop out cantaloupe.
    Mash in double boiler.
    Add sugar, cornstarch and slightly beaten egg yolks.
    Cook over boiling water, stirring constantly.
    Cool; pour into pie shell.
    Beat egg whites until frothy; add the 6 tablespoons sugar and lemon juice gradually, beating until stiff peak consistency.
    Spread meringue over pie.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until meringue is browned.
